Your day
Your day ends at 3:00 am unless you changed it, so a check-in at 1:30 am still counts for the day before. You can pick midnight or 5:00 am instead in Settings, Day ends, until the end of day 3.
Rules with a time are reminders. Rules with “must be done by” close an hour after their deadline, and that hour is there for when you did it on time but forgot to tap. Deadlines after 9:00 pm stay open until noon the next day.
Weekly rules
A weekly rule, like Train 4 times a week, runs Monday to Sunday. It’s optional on days when you still have enough days left in the week. Once you need every remaining day, the row turns orange and says “Today counts.” Skipping a day that counts makes the week short, and that day gets one missed rule.
The first and last weeks of an arc are shortened, so no week is ever impossible, and a sick day lowers that week’s target by one.
Avoid rules
An avoid rule, like No alcohol, counts as kept unless you tap I slipped. You can undo a slip until the day ends. Avoid rules are never named on your lock screen.
Forgot to check in?
Anything you didn’t check comes back the next morning in “Did you do these yesterday?” Answer I did or No by 12:00 noon. Anything still unanswered at noon counts as No.
Misses and your difficulty
| Difficulty | One missed rule | Two or more |
|---|---|---|
| Warm-up | The day still counts and your streak continues | Missed day, your streak starts again |
| Standard | Missed day, but the first one each week is free | Same as one |
| Hard | Missed day, your streak starts again and the arc keeps going | Same |
| Monk mode | Your attempt ends and a new 90 days starts the next day you open the app | Same |
Warm-up with 2 rules or fewer works like Standard. You can change your difficulty until the end of day 3.
Sick days
Every arc has 3. A sick day isn’t a miss, your streak holds and your summit date doesn’t move. You can take one for today, or for yesterday until noon, from Your arc on the Today tab. Your crew sees “Resting today,” never the word sick.
Crews and chat
A crew is up to 8 friends. Everyone keeps their own rules and dates, and the crew sees each person’s count, streak and camps, never their rules. Create one or join with a code from the Crew tab. Crews need a quick sign-in with Apple or Google.
Someone in your crew being abusive? Report or block them from their name in the app. We review every report within 24 hours. The Crew rules explain what isn’t allowed.
Purchases
Each arc is $9 once, or the local price your store shows, and it never renews. To restore it on a new phone, use Restore purchase on the paywall or in Settings, signed in to the same Apple or Google account you paid with.
Refunds go through Apple or Google, the same way as any app purchase. After day 90 you can Keep going with the same rules, Change it up, or take a break at no charge.
A new phone
Install 90North on it, signed in to the same Apple or Google account, and tap “Already started? Restore your arc” on the first screen. Your purchase and arc come back from your iCloud or Google backup. If backup was off, the purchase can still be restored but the history can’t, and the app tells you before starting fresh.
Your data
Settings, Export your data gives you a ZIP with your rules, check-ins, contract, crew activity and the messages you sent. To delete your account, go to Settings, Delete account, or use this page without the app. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Write to support@90north.app. We answer within a day. If you write from the app, it can add the app version, your phone’s system version and your day of the arc, never your rules or messages.
