Crews are small, invite-only groups of friends doing their arcs together. Everyone agrees to these rules when they create or join a crew, together with the Terms of Use.
What isn’t allowed
These rules apply to crew names, first names and every chat message.
- Harassment or bullying, including going after someone for a missed day, their body or their weight.
- Hate: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, disability or serious illness.
- Sexual content of any kind. Anything sexual involving a minor is reported to the authorities.
- Threats, or encouraging violence against anyone.
- Encouraging self-harm, disordered eating or dangerous challenges.
- Sharing someone’s personal information, like their address or phone number, without their permission.
- Impersonation, spam and scams, including selling things or advertising.
- Anything illegal.
Respect what people keep private
Your crew only ever sees counts, streaks and camps, never anyone’s rules, difficulty or misses. If someone talks about their rules in chat, that’s theirs to share, not yours to pass on.
Cheers are always welcome. A nudge can only go to someone who hasn’t checked in today and isn’t resting, once a day, and never before noon in their time zone.
How to report or block
- To report a person, tap their name on the Crew tab and choose Report. To report a message, press and hold it.
- Pick the reason that fits. “Also block” is on by default.
- A reported message is hidden for you straight away.
- Blocking works both ways and takes effect at once: you disappear from each other’s crew views and neither of you sees the other’s messages. You can undo it in Settings, Blocked people.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Our moderators can’t send help.
What happens after a report
A real person reviews every report within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we may hide the message for everyone, remove the person from the crew or ban their account. People who break the rules are removed for good, and a removed person can’t rejoin with the old invite code.
Crew owners can also remove members themselves. Removing someone doesn’t touch their arc, which keeps going on their phone.

How chat works
- Chat is text only: no photos, videos, voice messages, links or private messages.
- Messages can be up to 500 characters, one every 2 seconds.
- Names and messages pass a word filter. A message that fails it stays in the box with “That can’t be sent. Keep it friendly.”
- Messages are deleted after 30 days. A reported message is kept until its report is closed.
- Moderators can only open a message someone reported, with the few messages before it, and every time they do is logged.
